General Course
Description
This workshop is especially designed for
teachers and administrators who need a working introduction to Web Page
development and design. The training includes Microsoft FrontPage and
other web development tools.
Course Objectives
It was decided by the participants of this
workshop that upon completion each person will be able to:
- Import pictures (from a
CD, floppy, digital camera, etc) of various types into a web page
- Create a table on the web page and
modify the information included in the table.
- Acquire understanding of Microsoft
FrontPage
- Add hyperlinks to other websites.
- Create a WebQuest.
- Create a basic website that will allow students and parents to access information.
- "Spice-up" the basic website
- Link external files (word, excel,
slide show, acrobat files,
etc)
- Import multimedia (video and sound
files) into a web page
- Operate a personal computer with more
efficiency
- Create email hyperlinks to allow parents
communicate with the instructor via the class web page.
- Communicate information such as
upcoming events, required
readings, scheduled trips, supplemental materials, etc to parents
and other visitors of .

- Attendance and promptness count.
Tardiness exceeding 15 minutes will result in loss of 2 points.
- Daily activities will be penalized at a
rate of 10% (of the total value) for each day they are late.
